Hi Guys, this is just a brief write up regarding the process we go through of navigating the car market to steer clear of getting stuck with a lemon. We have all been done over at some stage, when buying, selling or trading cars.
1st = We take pride in sharing our process for sourcing and selling cars, as well as the lengths we go to in order to acquire them. Typically, out of every 20 cars we encounter, we only choose to purchase one. Once we identify a potential vehicle, we conduct thorough inspections ourselves. For interstate transactions, we frequently enlist a trusted third party to inspect the car on our behalf. This precaution is essential; even with a second opinion, there’s still a risk of oversight. However, it provides an added layer of safety compared to not inspecting the vehicles at all.
Car Inspection Time
2nd = After acquiring the vehicle, we transport it back to our shop to begin the restoration process. Like many others, we’ve experienced situations where sellers overstate the condition of the car. What they claim to be a ‘9 out of 10’ in terms of panel and paint often turns out to be closer to a ‘5’ upon inspection. Sellers can be quite enamored with their vehicles, overlooking issues like damaged trim or engine knocks. And rust? It’s a common headache we encounter. Once the vehicle is in our shop, we meticulously address all necessary repairs and enhancements to ensure it meets our high standards

3rd = We also arrange for paint correction if necessary, as well as sending cars to trimmers for any needed attention to the interior. Electrical work required for a Road Worth Certificate (RWC) is handled by trusted auto-electricians. It’s important to us that all vehicles we sell come with a Victorian Road Worth Certificate, ensuring their compliance with safety standards.
4th = Once we’ve brought the car up to our standards and we’re satisfied with its condition, we begin the detailing process in preparation for photographs. Once the vehicle looks its best, we promptly list it online and advertise it to potential buyers.
