Ford XY GT replica 1971, what can you say about this beauty, the Vermillion Fire colour with the black trim, absolute hero combo. It’s got all the GT blackouts and stripes, all new suspension, running a strong 351 D block Cleveland with fully reco Holley carby from Hume Performance, backed up behind the 4 speed top loader and the factory 9” diff. Drum brake rear and disc front. This car has a great note running a dual 2 1/4” system from the manifold back. Its very impressive to drive with all the front and rear end work done, rear springs pulled apart and reset to factory hight, the front has had caliper kit, Bendix brakes, machined front discs, repacked wheel bearings, new front springs and shockers, new spring saddles, just to name a few from Pedders Melton .. The car has just completed a full go over from the Auto Electrician with everything working and the list was long with alot of new parts.. We replaced the water filler neck in the engine block and replaced the thermostat with a 160, we replaced the fuel sender unit. Now its of to the panel shop for some small rust repairs. The car has had 2 lower quarter panels replaced, both lower seals replaces and some floor repairs.
