Genuine 1970 XY GT Yellow Ochre with black trim.
This car is a very honest car running allot of original parts, the car has had a respray, some time back, with the vinyl roof being taken off, and the bonnet stripes put on. The car has had some changes over its time, the genuine GT has a Phase 3 rear wing. It is a one of one build with black vinyl roof and delete bonnet blackouts.
It’s a car that you could turn back to original or keep as is, just a great drive. The car interior is mostly original, the dash pad has a small crack in it, the seat belts are not genuine ford, and the carpet has been changed at some point.
The engine bay has just been overhauled, by GT guru Frank Protelli and has been brought up to show and factory condition, with mostly all original parts. With factory exhausts manifolds and new factory style exhausts, new 780 holly, rebuilt brake booster, rebuilt wiper motor, rebuilt alternator, correct distributor, the radiator fan shroud is original Bakelite, and the list goes on, and on and on. The car runs on its original 5 slot rims with original caps and trim on a new set of aqua jets tyres. All lenses are factory.
All gauges are original with clock and radio still working and a great condition centre console. The body is in good condition for its age given the 104031 miles this beauty has done. All glass and panels are original, and the car has never been in an accident. The inside boot and door jams are factory paint. The engine is a factory engine with the factory numbers stamped on the block. Although the block date code is stamped 2 months later than the car date, after talking to some FORD experts, this does not seem uncommon and could be a deal motor change.
