Genuine 1970 XY GT Yellow Ochre with black trim. This car has had a respray, some time back, with the vinyl roof been taken off, and the bonnet stripes put on. The car has had some changes over its time, the genuine GT has been turned into a Phase 3 replica, with the Bathurst globes, rear wing, and Phase 3 brake upgrades and Phase 3 extractors. It is a one of one build with black vinyl roof and delete bonnet blackouts. It’s a car that you could tune back to original or keep as is, it would be a great driver. The car interior is mostly original, the dash pad has a crack in it, the seat belts are not genuine ford, the carpet has been changed at some point. All gauges are original with clock and radio, the trim matches it 104031 miles. The body is in good condition, with 2 small repairs the lower LHS sill. It has all original glass and panels and has never been in an accident. With the inside boot and door jams factory paint, original sticker on the driver’s side inner door. The engine is a factory engine with the factory numbers stamped on the block, but the block date code it 2 months later than the car date. After talking to some experts, apparently, it’s not that uncommon, for a dealer change motor, as the heads are correct for the car.

Down-side to the car, it would need some love to bring it back to original, older paint job, could do with some paint corrections, trim could do with some love to bring it back up, and engine bay could do with a makeover, or leave as is. The radiator fan shroud is plastic, not bakerite, the alternator is not correct, the brake booster is not correct, extractors should be manifolds, ECT.
We have a few options, we can supply all the genuine parts needed to put it back to original, i.e., brake booster, dizzy, alternator, exhausts manifolds, heat shield and s tube, radiator should, seat belts, 5 slot rims and tyres, and we are happy to pull the motor out repaint the bay and the motor to bring it up to show standard, it’s a sit down and talk thought scenario.
